Pick from over 20 different styles; pencil sketches, watercolors, oil paintings and pastels, pen & ink drawings, pixelation, vintage, vivify, abstract art, and cartoons.
There are the usual tools improve or enhance photos such as sharpen, change brightness and color saturation, soften edges, use a manual brush etc. Text and borders can be added to your creations.

The effects take anywhere from a couple of seconds to a few minutes to render, depending on the resolution of your image and your system. Finished artworks can be exported in JPG, PNG, and BMP formats.

FotoSketcher is completely free (even for commercial use, if you wish to sell your pictures) and runs on Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10, and macOS. There's a portable version and 32bit & 64bit versions for Windows that are malware free according to VirusTotal.
